DMMO Prop Internship Summer 2022
For this metal porch chair, I was tasked with cleaning, sanding, and spray-painting it to the desired color.
I was tasked with dyeing paper money to a darker shade via black tea.
Aided the Assistant Prop Head in making the handle for a fight hook out of a scrap of wood. This was done through a belt sander.
Sewed a rag doll from a pattern on the internet with a pokadoted dress, hair, and embroidered facial features. The body's measurments were adjusted after an initial cut due to it being smaller than the desired size.

Created corn piles to go onto food trays.
Helped create oversized M'n'M hand props. For these, I shaved and smoothed down the foamular shape before helping glue and lay muslin. I later stapled the fabric onto the structure. I was not able to paint them.

Pictured below are pieces of projection fabric that are velcrowed to the black frame of the dog house. I was tasked with experiementing on how to stop the fraying of the fabric, which I attempted sewing, ironing, and burning with a lighter. I later sewed pieces of Velcro onto them with an industrial sewing machine.
Worked with the props department in testing different textures and ideas for making the plastic pumpkins realistic.
